MdolphinsRichie Incognito, a guard for the Miami Dolphins is currently indefinitely suspended for conduct detrimental to the team.

Jonathan Martin, offensive tackle for the Dolphins has been allegedly bullied by his teammate, Incognito. Martin checked himself into a South Florida hospital to be treated for emotional distress. This emotional distress caused Martin to leave the team on October 28, 2013.  Martin’s attorney, David Cornwell, said in a statement issued late Thursday night that Incognito and other teammates bullied Martin to the point that he felt like he had no choice but to leave the team.

The final incident that occurred to cause Martin to leave the team was in the team’s cafeteria when he sat down to eat. After sitting down the other players he joined got up and walked away and he was left to sit alone. I don’t know about you, but this does not seem like something you do to a teammate. There were also texts from Incognito using racial slurs in threatening texts to Martin.

IncognitoIncognito was told by coaching staff to “toughen up” Martin. The general manager, Jeff Ireland, told Martin’s agent that the player should “punch” Incognito to make the alleged bullying stop. HOW WOULD THIS HELP ANYTHING? “Violence is NEVER the answer,” yet the general manager said Martin should respond back with VIOLENCE. How would this help Martin? Isn’t it possible that Incognito [or other teammates] would bully Martin even more and harder? Also, if the general manager knew the tiniest bit about the possible bullying of Martin, WHY DIDN’T HE DO ANYTHING? WHY DIDN’T HE TRY TO STOP IT OR TALK WITH THE OTHER PLAYERS? This could have saved the Dolphins a lot of trouble.

HeadCoachIncognito is denying the bullying of Martin and said the threatening texts and racial slurs were just him playing around and that is their “brotherhood.” I don’t know about your friends, family, teammates, or whoever else you hang out with or see, but TO ME THESE DO NOT SEEM very brotherhood-like.

Even Incognito’s ex-teammate from the St. Louis Rams called him a ‘scumbag.’ Cam Cleeland, the ex-teammate of Incognito said he dealt with hazing on a very personal level when he came into the league. Cleeland said,

I’m not afraid to say that he was an immature, unrealistic scumbag. When it came down to it, he had no personality, he was a locker room cancer, and he just wanted to fight everybody all the time. It was bizarre beyond belief.

It is said to believe that the 30 year-old guard will reportedly consider filing a grievance against the team.

DolphinsAs a college student, I hear a lot about bullying, hazing, emotional distress, and harassment. All of these things which are frowned upon no matter what you are a part of. To see that this is happening in the NFL is beyond ridiculous and I thought that an NFL team would be supportive of all their players, just like a family should be.

Of course Halloween is that one night (or in college, it is either those one OR two weekends) you get to dress up as whatever you want and “not be judged.” I have been to three different colleges for Halloween and the most interesting thing that I have heard was some boy (I’ll refer to him as a boy even though he was 18 and probably considers himself a “man”) put the word slutty in front of every woman’s costume that he saw. “Slutty police officer.” “Slutty cat.” “Slutty leprechaun.” “Slutty cheerleader.” Slutty this, slutty that. Yes, it is Halloween. Yes, the point is to dress up, or in this case, dress down. Yes, we all know a lot of women choose to show more skin than they normally would on any other night.  And yes, we all know people try and choose the most ridiculous outfits because on Halloween nothing is “offensive.” Well, that is where people are ENTIRELY WRONG. This, is about two costumes, two different businesses were selling, yet the costumes were just so insensitive and the way the made the costumes does not make any sense.

As a college individual, I enjoy dressing up on Halloween and going out to all of those “wild” Halloween parties, but I have honestly seem some disturbing costumes which just not okay with me. Also, as a college individual, I am fully supportive of raising awareness for mental health. I am actually too hyped up about it because it is usually that ONE subject people think they know everything about. I know, I don’t know everything about it; but when people come tell me they are so “DEPRESSED” times infinity because their favorite television show does not come on for another week, I just get so upset and annoyed. People use the words depression, anxiety, I want to kill myself, bi-polar, ADD, OCD, ADHD” so freely and they just throw them around like it is nothing. To me, that is not okay.

Do they ever think of the people who are truly suffering from depression? Do they ever think of the people who do try and kill themselves everyday? Do they think of the people who cannot do certain things or have to carry around a brown paper bag due to having anxiety and could possibly have a panic attack at ANY given moment? My answer to this is, probably not. Why? Because of course we know about mental illnesses, but movies and television shows almost play them as a joke; the depressed person always gets better, the anxious person always becomes relaxed, the “I want to kill myself” person always lives and has a great life. The worst take on movies and television shows- psychiatric units. Oh no, that person was in the psychiatric unit, they’re “crazy.” “Watch out for that person they might go all crazy on you because they have multiple personalities.” In all honesty, I just want this stigma about mental health to go away, but that is probably too much to ask. Well, until this article, I honestly thought no one had regrets for something they said or did about mental health. The usual response, “Oh, you know I am just kidding. I don’t seriously mean I’m going to kill myself.”

HumorwrongIt is things like this that make people THINK SUICIDE/MENTAL HEALTH is a JOKE.

In the UK, two Halloween stores made costumes to represent a “patient” in a psychiatric unit. One of the costumes was titled “mental patient,” and the other was “psycho ward.” One of the businesses even has a costume called “diabetic.” This is what annoys me. What mental health illness are these costumes supposed to describe and be? Also, have they ever seen what patients wear in a psychiatric unit- other than on television and in movies?Asda mental patient costume PsychoSurprisingly, these two costumes brought up mental health awareness in a “positive” (using that word very lightly right now) in the UK.

Mind, a mental health charity based in the UK, pointed out how these costumes work to “fuel” negative ideas about the broad scope of individuals with and experiences of mental illness.

People associate the words crazy, insane, weird, and many others with the term “mental health.” Every mental health illness is different to each and every person. Just like every individual has something different about them. There are all types of levels and types of depression, ADD, OCD, anxiety, and every mental illness out there. It is not the same for two exact people. When you tell someone something and they say “oh, I know exactly how you feel.” Sometimes people just say that to make you feel better. Sometimes people do know how you feel. One example in my life was when my grandmother passed away. I saw her every single day. “My grandmother passed away 3 years ago. I know how you feel. Although, my grandmother lived 5 hours away.” They think they know, but everyone is always on a different relationship level with family members and friends. Some people have never even met their grandparents. My grandparents, they were (and still are) my heroes.

I write a lot about bullying and people committing suicide because they have been bullied. Some people just don’t understand what can happen when they say “go kill yourself,” or “I wish you would die.” Words like that are harsh and unnecessary. This horrible costume idea, “might be a blessing in disguise” says Dr. Simon Williams of Chicago.

The fact that it happened at all shows that there is still a lot of work to be done to combat mental health stigma.Someone looked at that costume and decided “this is a mental patient”, and thought that was fine,” says Dean Burnett. Many other experts and activists expressed outrage, and the public also took to Twitter to comment and share accurate accounts of what it’s like to be a “mental patient.”

Following the feedback, both Asda and Tesco removed the items from their online stores and issued a public apology.

[This scandal brings] issues of stigma in mental health to public scrutiny.” We live and work in the hope that as these incidents arise, society will become more aware of the power of stigma and the importance of community in combatting it. This Halloween, and every day, consider carefully how the many people with mental health struggles are represented and how you can contribute to more accurate, compassionate depictions.

I understand it is Halloween, and I understand people being immature about adding the word “slutty” to every woman as they walk by in a costume (and how annoying it is), but do they really have to go as far as making a costume about a mental health patient (who has no control over their illness), or even the costume as a diabetic!? What is our world coming to?

It is the third week of the government shutdown and Congress can still not come up with an agreement. National parks have been closed, workers are still without their jobs, and people are still getting frustrated. However, yesterday morning, New York decided to reopen the Statue of Liberty after the state decided to pay for the reopening. The Statue of Liberty will cost New York $61,600 a day over the next several days from its tourism budget.

“Just on the economics of the matter, it makes obvious sense for us to pay for the costs of operation, which pales in comparison to the amount of money we are now losing,” Cuomo said.

Since the government shutdown on October 1, 2013, Bill Rudin, the chairman of the Battery Conservancy, which operates the 25-acre park and ticketing center for ferries to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, said that 400 jobs have been lost at the Statue of Liberty and surrounding parks.

Rudin estimated that there are about 10,000 daily visitors who pay $35, adding up to losses in the thousands of dollars during the closure.

Just like New York, Arizona and South Dakota struck similar deals to reopen the Grand Canyon and Mount Rushmore. Utah reopened their national parks as well and are paying for them.

“These parents sent their son to school with a bookbag, and he was returned to them in a body bag.”

On January 11, Kendrick Johnson, a 17-year-old, was found dead in a rolled up gymnasium mat at Lowndes High School in South Georgia. Johnson was found upside down in the gym mat and his death was ruled an accident by “falling head first into an upright mat reaching for his shoe.” Trapped. Upside down. Suffocation. TRAGIC ACCIDENT, CASE CLOSED, NO FURTHER INVESTIGATION. Something just does not add up.

matThis is Kendrick Johnson in the rolled up mat at his high school. The center of the mat was 14 inches wide and Johnson’s shoulders are 19 inches wide. How does this make sense? How can someone accidentally slip their 19 inch wide shoulders into the 14 inch center of a mat!?

oldbloodstainBlood on the wall near where Johnson’s body was found in the mat, yet investigators said the blood was not his. However, why wasn’t it tested against other people’s DNA? If it wasn’t from the scene why hasn’t someone cleaned it up before? Would the school or a janitor really leave blood on the wall?

shoenotcollectedA second shoe that was found in the gymnasium that Johnson died in, was not collected as evidence. This is not Johnson’s shoe. Also, as you can see, there is a stain on the shoe, however, it was said that it was not blood, so it was not collected. They should have collected that shoe. Why was there a second shoe in the gym? Why was there blood on the wall? Why was the blood on the wall not tested when another shoe, that WAS NOT Kendrick’s, was found.

So many questions and the school is withholding the footage from the FOUR VIDEO CAMERAS they have in the gym because “under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, anything that contains ‘personally identifiable information‘ concerning a student is considered a student record, including images and videos of students. Student records are protected under the act and are prohibited from being disclosed unless ordered by a court.” HOWEVER, these videos would prove whether Johnson was alone or if there was someone else around.

Johnson’s face was bloated with pooled blood, and some of the blood poured out of his body and drenched his dreadlocks and spilled onto the floor. Johnson’s jaw was also bruised, but nothing was done about that.

If all of this isn’t disturbing enough, the family had Kendrick Johnson’s body exhumed in May for a second autopsyWhat did the second autopsy find?

Dr. Anderson’s autopsy resulted in some very peculiar findings.  First of all, based on his experience in the field, he concluded that hemorrhaging on the right side of Kendrick’s neck was caused by blunt force trauma near his carotid artery and that the fatal blow appeared to be “non-accidental”. In other words, someone hit Kendrick on the right side of his neck with substantial blunt force which killed him.

FATAL BLOW. BLUNT FORCE TRAUMA. How did investigators or the coroner miss this the first time? Side note, the body of Kendrick Johnson was not taken to the coroner’s office for many, many hours.

Something more disturbing

When Dr. Anderson opened up the teen’s remains to, shall we say, take a second look, the brain, heart, lungs, liver and other viscera were missing.Every organ from the pelvis to the skull was gone. Instead of the organs, Dr, Anderson found old newspapers and department store circulars.

Johnson’s family and legal team believe the differences between the first and second autopsies point to a mishandling of the case. Crump claimed that investigators with the Sheriff’s Office and the GBI failed to collect and examine evidence from the scene of Johnson’s death that could have contained trace evidence, including DNA.

“We think it is, at best, total incompetence and, at worst, an attempt to bury the truth,” said Crump

When GBI spokeswoman Sherry Lang spoke with CNN, she told a “whopper”. She stated that after the autopsy,

“The organs were placed in Johnson’s body, the body was closed, then the body was released to the funeral home.

In a letter to the Johnson’s’ attorney, the funeral company’s owner Antonio Harrington said his firm never received the teen’s organs. In what could be another “whopper”, Harrington wrote that the organs:

“(W)ere destroyed through natural process” due to the position of Kendrick Johnson’s body when he died, and “discarded by the prosector before the body was sent back to Valdosta.” The prosector is the technician who dissects the body for pathological examination.

This family needs justice. All of this new evidence is pointing in the direction of a murder and someone is trying to cover up the truth. THE TRUTH. THIS IS THE SHERIFF’S JOB. THE SCHOOL IS SUPPOSED TO PROTECT THEIR STUDENTS. Why don’t they want the justice for Kendrick Johnson? The most bullshit comment anyone could make

“I’m terribly sorry for the family,” Watson said. “But I don’t think raising all this Cain down here is going to bring closure to them.”

If it was not going to bring “closure” to the family then they wouldn’t be doing this. They have EVERY RIGHT to know what happened to their son! If someone murdered their son, I am sure it would bring CLOSURE TO THE FAMILY knowing that whoever did it would get punished, they would be in JAIL; JUSTICE WOULD BE SERVED. Help Kendrick and his family get justice. Don’t let Georgia hide evidence. Don’t let them hide a murder case. This was NO ACCIDENT.

Bullying causes a gay teen to commit suicide; Careless driving causes a father to get hit and killed when walking to raise awareness about his son.

A 15-YEAR-OLD BOY committed SUICIDE after being BULLIED at school for being GAY. Jadin Bell died in February after hanging himself in the school yard. There was no suicide note, however, Jadin’s father, Joe Bell, said

Jadin was bullied relentlessly for being gay, both in school and online.

Joe Bell wanted to start educating the country about the lasting effects of bullying and started his mission called “Joe’s Walk for Change.” The walk started in late April in La Grande, Oregon and Bell was planning on making a U-shape from La Grande all the way down to Dallas, Texas, and all the way back up to Delaware or New York.

On Wednesday, Bell was planning on being picked up at 6pm wherever he was, to go talk to Hugo United Methodist Church, in Colorado. Unfortunately, on Bell’s walking journey he was killed by a semi-truck. The truck driver was charged with reckless driving and the police assume he may have fallen asleep behind the wheel.

This tragedy truly raises the awareness and hopefully will open YOUR eyes to what effects bullying really has on someone. Gay and lesbian teens are two to three times more likely to commit teen suicide than other youths. About 30% of all COMPLETED suicides have been related to sexual identity crisis. 9 OUT OF 10 LGBT TEENS HAVE REPORTED BEING BULLIED AT SCHOOL WITHIN THE PAST YEAR BECAUSE OF THEIR SEXUAL ORIENTATION.

People are mean, however, schools and states need to start being more strict about bullying. CHILDREN, TEENS, and ADULTS are KILLING THEMSELVES because other people are BULLYING them. Jokes about race, gender, sexual orientation, hair, what clothes you wear, RIDICULOUS things that shouldn’t even matter to someone else. It’s not their business. There is no federal law that specifically applies to bullying. In some cases, when bullying is based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or religion, bullying overlaps with harassment and schools are legally obligated to address it.

I am a huge Washington Redskins fan. I know, they have their ups and downs when they play, but I am a true, dedicated FAN. I would hate to see them change the name of this team.

redskins1Oneida Indian Nation held a symposium in town to discuss their campaign to find a new name for the Washington Redskins after 80 years. This tribe views the name and mascot of the Washington Redskins as a racial slur and say that it has an ugly history and tradition.

Redskins owner Dan Snyder has steadfastly refused to consider it, telling USA Today last spring that he will “NEVER” change his team’s name, even if they lose an ongoing federal trademark lawsuit that would stop the NFL team from exclusively profiting from the Redskins name.

The NFL confirmed on Monday, that they will meet with the Oneida Indian Nation leaders to talk about their concerns with the name and mascot of the Washington Redskins.

But Redskins attorney Lanny Davis said Halbritter is being “selective in his outrage,” citing other teams named after Native Americans who are not targeted in the “Change the Mascot” campaign.

“Why is he not protesting the Atlanta Braves Tomahawk Chop, or President Obama’s hometown Chicago Blackhawks?” Davis said.

President Obama is open to the name change of the Redskins….

It is a name, and if they find it offensive, don’t support the Redskins. However, here is the history of the Washington Redskins name:

  1. Boston Braves (1932)
  2. Boston Redskins (1933–1936)
  3. Washington Redskins (1937–present)

The overdose was not on accident…

How does a 4-year-old boy overdose on heroin, exactly? Well, the parents of the boy, Eric Emil Lehtinen and Saradia Lehtinen were getting a divorce. The day the divorce was supposed to be finalized, Mrs. Lehtinen found her son and husband in a bed, passed out, not responding. The mother saw a syringe on her sons chest and called 911.

Mr. Lehtinen, who is 37-years-old, is being charged with attempted first-degree murder. The son is at Children’s Hospital, yet they don’t know if he will recover or if he’ll have long-term effects or damage after his father TRIED KILLING HIM.

After the initial toxicology, Children’s Hospital found: heroin, ketamine, morphine, codeine, and other drugs in the boys blood system. Mr. Lehtinen kept on pushing for more time, yet the papers were going to be finalized on September 24, the day of the overdoses.

A search warrant executed at Eric Lehtinen’s home revealed seven syringes containing liquid believed to be illegal drugs inside the bedroom where the incident occurred, police said in court documents. Additionally, investigators say they found three used syringes in the bedroom, a burnt spoon with residue, multiple scales and $12,620 in cash.

How messed up do you have to be to inject your 4-year-old son with heroin?

….Not as fun as it sounds though.

Amendment 54-46: Just hours to go before a shutdown

The last government shut down was in November of 1995. When the government shut down in 1995, they still got paid afterwards. However, since there are a lot more people who work for the government, the employees who do not continue to work during the shut down, definitely won’t get paid. Postal service, military, and police officers will still work if the government gets shut down and will get paid in “IOUs.”

“You don’t get to extract a ransom for doing your job, for doing what you’re supposed to be doing anyway, where just because there’s a law there that you don’t like,” the president said.

They may think shutting down the government is a good idea…but it will still cost money to reopen it as well!

**Don’t worry: this blog post is not all about Rebecca Black OR Miley Cyrus, it is just to prove a point. Also, I know I wrote a lot but I do believe I made some good points in my argument here(so it’s worth the read.) Enjoy!

The Last Fight about Miley: The Wannabe Britney Spears

Played down rehearsal, Over the top performance

Today, is obviously Friday and everyone knows that. However, I was thinking on my way to class today that “it’s Friday, Friday…”, which is a verse in the song Friday by Rebecca Black. It’s not a song that I would listen to over and over, but Rebecca Black was a 13-year-old girl pursuing her dream, and that is admirable. It is also one of those songs that you start to sing, and you cannot get it out of your head. Although, I’m glad she got to make a music video. It is entertaining, conservative, appropriate, but according to some children, teens, and adults, “Rebecca Black shouldn’t even be on YouTube” or “Rebecca Black should go kill herself.”

To me, this is a harsh coming from a 10-year-old, a 25-year-old, or even a 45-year-old. Coming from ANY AGE it is harsh and over the top. What a lot of people don’t know is that the record company, Ark Music Factory, “is an online platform for discovering new talent and new taste makers!” There are posts like: “My names [******** ********], 16 just a normal girl trying to make her dream come true please help me!” How is that wrong? Ark Music, makes their dreams come true. Alright, maybe some people aren’t the “best” singers, but who are we to criticize them? You, who is reading this: CAN YOU SING? I know I can’t criticize someone for being a horrible singer when I sure as HELL CANNOT SING. I like to sing, but it’s not one of my passions and it’s not one of my dreams to become a singer hence why I do not go out and make a music video. But, it is Rebecca Black’s dream to be a singer, so I don’t see why many people have to criticize that little girl about being a “horrible singer.” There’s a YouTube video that shows some children loving Rebecca Black’s song, Friday. Rebecca Black, was teased so much, that she had to leave school and become home-schooled by her mother.

Talking about Rebecca Black, and all the criticizing she got for her song, made me think of a blogger who wrote “All of this talk about Miley is sickening.” In NO way, shape, or form do I consider myself a “feminist.” If someone wants to call me a bitch, say I’m sexy, comment about my body, “degrade me,” make women jokes, GO AHEAD. I don’t care. I care about being a woman, but I know who I am, I know what I am and am not, and they can talk shit as much as they want, but it won’t upset me.

During the conversation between this blogger and I, it got a little heated because of Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke, and the outcome of the VMAs. If you don’t know what happened at the VMAs (which is unlikely because everyone couldn’t stop talking about it), here is the video from that night.

I said the way Miley acted was inappropriate and she shouldn’t have danced like that, and the blogger said “I think the idea Miley should sensor herself really isn’t anyone’s business.” When I commented about young children being able to see it (because I know I broke the rules and stayed up late to watch TV when I was younger), the blogger stated “that people shouldn’t be so upset with the performance because it was on cable and it wasn’t on during prime time– it was on around 10, when most young people would be asleep.” GREAT, it wasn’t on during prime time, however, young children or teenagers can still watch it AND it’s on YouTube.

Wearing nude color clothing and dancing on a married man (his wife wasn’t upset, but Robin Thicke didn’t know that Miley was going to do all what she did in the performance), how is that not seen as inappropriate? If a man dressed in nude clothing and danced on a woman, ALL HELL would break loose: and it definitely wouldn’t be treated the same as Miley dancing like that. “We were trying to make history” doesn’t necessarily make this all better. Yes, women like to critique one another, and just because I am a woman doesn’t mean I am being harsh on Miley. I’m just saying that her outfit and dancing TO ME was not appropriate. That’s great if you found it appropriate, but I didn’t and I felt (as a woman, babysitter, nanny, aunt, friend, and role model) that the former Disney star, shouldn’t have done that- especially touching near Robin Thicke’s penis with a foam finger. I am not offended by it, if Miley danced that way at a club I could care less, I just found it weird and awkward she did that on the VMAs after being a Disney star– and if any female or male did it I would feel just as awkward: the main thing that got to me from the performance was bending over and sticking out her tongue and touching herself with a foam finger; and HONESTLY, all I wanted to do was comment on a post so I could get credit for class. However, I clearly got a little more than I planned or even wanted. I’m also stubborn and probably will keep arguing until the other person gives in. Women and men can be sexual verbally, I don’t care, they can be as sexual as they want with one another(unless they’re naked or doing something that is meant for the bedroom because I don’t want to watch porn), but WHY in the HELL would I want to watch anyone touch themselves with a FOAM FINGER ON TV!?

In the blogger’s post about Miley she states “The last thing is that everyone blamed Miley for her provocative acts but I haven’t heard one thing wrong with Robin Thicke’s song Blurred Lines, a song that promotes rape cultureMen can be sexual and degrading but women have to cross their legs and look pretty.” Okay, my problem with this is, are you saying you don’t listen to the song Blurred Lines? Are you saying you don’t listen to music that degrades women? Are you saying you don’t listen to music that degrades men? I get it, the song degrades women, but it is just a song and they are just lyrics. I’m sure it wasn’t intended for people to take them seriously.

In one blog I found, this woman specifically writes about feminism and the song Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke. She states “In fact, I find these songs more amusing than anything else. The points of incoherence to which our sexuality and femininity can drive musicians and artists is simply astounding, and the songs which portray men as completely stupefied by the booty shaking in front of them, seem to reflect more poorly on the men for whom they speak than anything else.” Her title is even: I am a Woman and I am Empowered by Degrading Music. Yeah, I know all women don’t feel this way, especially about Blurred Lines, but GET OVER IT. Do you know how many women degrade men in their songs? Do you know how many songs are degrading men in a SEXUAL content, sung by women? More than you probably think. Lets see: Blah Blah Blah by KeshaYou Make Me Sick by Pink, Menocide by OTEP, Amy by Sunny Sweeney, Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under by Shania Twain, Stay by Sugarland, Jolene by Dolly Parton, Blame It On Your Heart by Patty Loveless, If I Were a Boy by Beyonce, Picture to Burn, You’re Not Sorry, Mean, Stupid Boy, Better Than Revenge, Cold as You, A Perfectly Good Heart all by Taylor Swift.

….Yeah. “Men can be sexual and degrading, but women have to cross their legs and look pretty.” Those songs show right there that women don’t have to cross their legs and look pretty and that they don’t get criticized about it. Taylor Swift, yes, I’ve heard a lot of criticism towards her. Shania Twain, Pink, Beyonce–everyone loves them! Most of these songs, or a lot of songs that degrade men, are basically saying men are all cheaters or abusers. Or don’t trust a man because he’ll break your heart. SHIT, I know many woman who have broken a man’s heart. Also, I never once heard someone say “SHE IS DEGRADING MEN IN HER SONG!” No one ever thinks about it. I think that people should lay off artists and let them sing about whatever they want to. I love music and I don’t care if it degrades men OR women, I’ll still listen to it.

I am NOT saying that it is wrong for women to write about men in a sexual or degrading content. I am NOT saying that it is wrong for men to write about women in a sexual or degrading content. I am just saying that people shouldn’t be upset because no one is criticizing Thicke for his performance or lyrics. Dancing in nude, latex bra and underwear on TV is a little different from writing or singing a song about “ladies, back that ass up” or “boy, come on, give me rock stuff/ come put a little love in my glove bag.”

GOODBYE talk about Miley, GOODBYE to Who Runs the World..Girls! Oh Wait.. blogger, and GOODBYE posts about men degrading women and women degrading men.

After this post, I never want to talk about Miley, Robin Thicke, the VMAs or degrading certain genders on here EVER again.

Father stands behind his boys who tried killing him…?

Twin boys in Seattle tried to kill their father by setting fire to his house while he was sleeping. When Bill, the father, was trying to get out of his room, Joshua, one of the twins, held the door closed. They were trying to make it look like an accident because their father was “difficult to live with and work for.” Their father stands behind both of them.
