Wikipedia: information that is true?

Here is an interesting article about medical students receiving credit for editing Wikipedia pages about diseases.

“We as a profession have our corpus of knowledge, and we owe it as a profession to educate the lay public,” said Dr. Amin Azzam, a health sciences associate clinical professor at the U.C.S.F. School of Medicine.

Wouldn’t it be great to actually look something up on Wikipedia and know that it is true?

While much of Wikipedia’s information is correct, some is not. And sometimes people lie or are “vicious.”
